James W. "Jimmy" Lindsey, son of the late James Arnold and Alma Melissie Heath Lindsey, was born in Indianpolis, Indiana on January 8, 1953, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on March 12, 2013, at the age of 60 years, 2 months and 4 days.
He had lived in Indianapolis until moving to Morehouse ten years ago. He had worked as a truck driver for 20 years and had worked for Pyramid Roofing. He was a member of the Morehouse Assembly of God Church in Morehouse.
On August 20, 1994, he was married to Pamela McClure in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Surviving are his wife, Pam Lindsey of Morehouse; four daughters & husbands, Angie & Tom Bailey of Morehouse, Jessica Gano, Kristie & Mikie Crabtree and Jenny McClure all of Indianapolis, Indiana; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil & Roger Lindsey both of Morehouse; three sisters, Beverly Martin of Bloomfield, Shirley Gordon of Morehouse and Melda Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Mike W. Crabtree.
Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2013, after 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Morehouse, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Morehouse, Missouri with Rev. Larry Portwood of Morehouse, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements
