James Charles Hutchcraft, the son of the late Charley and Jessie Metcalf Hutchcraft, was born in Dexter, Missouri on November 24, 1928, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on February 11, 2007, at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 12 days. He had been raised in Dexter, Missouri and had lived in Poplar Bluff, Missouri the past thirty-five years. He was retired from the Star Gas Station and was a Jehovah's Witness. On April 1, 1949, he was married to Anna Lou Cutler in Bloomfield, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Anna Lou Hutchcraft of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and one brother, Donald Hutchcraft of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at 1:00 P.M. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Ed Mangus of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
