James Michael Hopper of Morehouse, son of Randy Hopper and the late Tammy Denning Hopper, was born in Sikeston, Missouri on May 18, 1987, and passed away in Sikeston, Missouri on August 22, 2016, at the age of 29 years, 3 months and 4 days.
He had lived in the Morehouse area all of his life. He had worked at Pyramid Roofing in Sikeston.
Surviving are his father & step-mother, Randy and Helen Hopper of Morehouse; two step-sisters, Marissa Bishop & Mandy Hicks both of Morehouse; four step-brothers, Matthew & Jason Flatt both of Morehouse, Johnny Flatt of Bell City, Allen Denning serving in the U.S. Army; maternal grandmother, Jane Denning of New Madrid; half brother, Glen Allen Denning of East Prairie; aunts & uncles, Barbara & Roger Flanigan of Morehouse, Joyce Sissom of Sweet Lips, Tennessee, Doris Heavener of Oran, Jerry Denning of Morehouse, Bobby Dale Denning of Cape Girardeau, Mark Denning of Sikeston; . Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by grandparents, L. V. & Lois Ella Hopper and Bobby Glen Denning.
Memorial services will be held at the Matthews City Park in Matthews, Missouri, times will be announced as soon as they are available.
