Jim Daniels, the son of the late Leonard Daniels and Isabelle Henderson Daniels, was born in Clarksville, Arkansas on September 11, 1943, and passed away at the St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 17, 2007, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 6 days. He was a former resident of the Dexter, Missouri area but had resided in Paragould, Arkansas the last fourteen years. He was of the protestant faith. On January 10, 1962, he was married to Evelyn Wells in Grayridge, Missouri. Surviving are his wife: Evelyn Daniels of Paragould, Arkansas, five sons: James Daniels Jr. of Apopka, Florida, Rick, Steve, Bobby and Clifford Daniels all of Paragould, Arkansas, one daughter: Rebecca Daniels of Paragould, Arkansas, three brothers: Clinton Daniels of Sikeston, Missouri, Verlis Daniels of McNeill, Mississippi and Alvie Daniels of Lafe, Arkansas, seven sisters: Wanda Maddox of Chaffee, Missouri, Oleta Whitley of Morehouse, Missouri, Lela Rushing and Karen Ramsey both of Essex, Missouri, Ruth Swope of Warrensburg, Missouri, Mary Roberts and Janet Gallo both of St. Louis, Missouri, nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and sixteen foster children. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Francis Gamble of Earl, Arkansas officiating. Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
