James C. Daniels, son of the late James W. and Thelma Deane Daniels, was born in Peckerwood Point, Tennessee on May 22, 1944, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on January 20, 2015, at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 29 days.
He had lived in Bloomfield before moving to Dexter three years ago. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing and his family, and was know as the family joker. He had worked as a cook at the Hickory House Restaurant.
On February 24, 1964, he was married to Judy Moody in Clarksville, Mississippi.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Daniels of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter & spouse, Donna Daniels & Angie Diamond of Dexter; four grandchildren & spouse, Heather Daniels & Evan Quoos, Nicole Rickman, Nickie Scott and Amy Green; four great grandchildren; three brothers and wives, Bob & Martha Daniels of Collierville, Tennessee, Herman Daniels of Senatobia, Mississippi, David & Reba Daniels of Millington, Tennessee; three sisters and husband, Pauline Roberts of Brighton, Tennessee, Rebecca & Nick Harris of Munford, Tennessee and Carol Munyon of Morley, Missouri. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Daniels and one grandson, Christopher Daniels.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 31, 2015, after 11:00 am at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 1:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Greg Stevens of Bloomfield, Missouri, officiating.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri, in charge of arrangements.
