James D. Bowling

James D. Bowling, the son of the late James Henry and Comilla Tedder Bowling, was born in Guntersville, Alabama on December 28, 1922, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on November 4, 2006, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 7 days. Mr. Bowling had lived most of his life in Bloomfield. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri where he served as a deacon. On October 25, 1941, he was married to Lois Haskins in New Madrid, Missouri. Surviving are his daughter: Lesa Uht of Bloomfield, Missouri; two grandchildren: Jonathan Uht of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sara Uht of Bloomfield, Missouri; and 1 great grandchild. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
