James Bolin

Janes R. Bolin Sr., son of the late Gracie Lucas, was born in Hornersville, Missouri on July 31, 1936, and passed away at is home in Puxico, Missouri on October 14, 2013, at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 20 days. He had lived in the Puxico area all of is life. He enjoyed fishing. He had served in the U S Army. He was married to Shirley O'Neal on August 9, 1970. She preceded him in death on September 1, 1995. Surviving are his stepfather, Ernest Jackson of Dudley, Missouri; three sons, James Bolin, Jr., Jimmidy Bolin and Leroy Parker, all of Puxico, Missouri; two daughters, Anita Parker of Dexter, Missouri, and Tina Bolin of Alton Missouri, eight grandchildren; seven great greatchilden; and one brother, Ernie Jackson of Louisiana. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jesse Bolin, and 1 sister-in-law, Mary Bolin. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 17, 2013 after 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 17, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. James Hagy of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
