Irma Jean Fodge of Benton, Missouri, daughter of the late Allen Eugene Briley and Evelyn Eve (Floyd) Crump was born on January 4, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2023, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 28 days.
She was of the Christian Faith. She loved to playing with her grandkids, quilting, frying chicken and watching Golden Girls.
Irma was united in marriage to the love of her life Ronald Eugene Fodge on September 8, 1968, in Idalia, Missouri.
Irma is survived by her mother, three sons, Spencer (Judy) Fodge of Sikeston, Missouri, J.D. (Courtney) Fodge of Leopold, Missouri, Clarence (Holly) Fodge of Sikeston, Missouri; two daughters, Ronda (Kevin) Bradham of Benton, Missouri, Angela Fodge of Benton, Missouri; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Briley of Brighton, Tennessee, and Kenny Briley of Burleson, Tennessee; as well as a host of family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her husband; and one brother; Clifford Simptkins.
Visitation service will be Monday, March 6, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M with Service to follow at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Pastor Charles Robertson of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins And Sons Funeral of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
