Irene Boshears

Irene Boshears, daughter of the late Edd and Sarah Velma Frost Brewer, was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on September 24, 1930, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on March 21, 2013, at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 25 days. She had grown up in Waynesboro, Tennessee, lived many years in Morehouse and was a resident of Cape Girardeau at this time. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Morehouse, Missouri and had worked as a teachers aid for the Sikeston School District. Surviving are two daughters, Bettie Dodson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Billie Crofford of Irvington, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one sister, Myrtle Carrington of Morehouse, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Troy Wayne Boshears. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013, after 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March , 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Randy Conn officiating. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
