Inez Boone, daughter of the late Edgar Spencer and Gertrude Dozer Hare, was born in Fulton, Mississippi on September 4, 1916, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on May 20, 2007, at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 16 days.
Mrs. Boone had lived in Essex, Missouri since 1946. She had attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church in Essex, Missouri.
On February 12, 1949, she was married to Luther Boone in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1973.
Surviving are one daughter, Jessie Faye Eaton of Blytheville, Arkansas; one son, John Flanigan of Essex, Missouri; two brothers, James Hare of Essex, Missouri, Eddie Hare of Wappapello, Missouri; two sisters, Charley May Wood of Fulton, Mississippi and Marie Young of Wappapello, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Gregory Eaton; three brothers, Cecil, Winfred and Edgar Hare.
Friends may call on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, after 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
