Imogene Leota Williamson, the daughter of the late Amiel and Ruth Ellen Rebecca Eaton Hunt, was born in Dexter, Missouri on October 1, 1932, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on April 3, 2007, at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 2 days. Mrs. Williamson had lived all her life in the Dexter area. She had worked at the Elders Manufacturing Co. in Dexter. She was a member of the South Pleasant Valley Church near Dexter, Missouri. She had been a baby sitter and cared for many children for sixteen years. On January 31, 1948, she was married to Charles Marvin Williamson in Grayridge, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1985. Surviving are two sons, Tom Williamson of Dexter, Missouri, Tony Williamson of Lumberton, Texas; two daughters, Susan Hyslop of Bloomfield, Missouri, Becky Pullum of Essex, Missouri; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Hunt of Carlinville, Illinois; two sisters, Allean Triplett of Dexter, Missouri and Evelene Metcalf of Crane, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Clifford, and Herbert Hunt. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Wa0tkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
