Imogene Harper, daughter of the late John Wyatt and Rosa Masterson Musgrave, was born January 16, 1928, in Wayne City, Illinois and passed away at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri on March 16, 2010, at the age of 82 years and 2 months.
Mrs. Harper had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She was a membr of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On December 22, 1945, she was married to Cecil Thurman Harper in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1979.
Surviving are six daughters, Elaine Hutchison & Jeanne Kengree both of Bloomfield, Missouri, Susan Lewis of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Cecily Parker of Dexter, Missouri, Tina Poe of Branson, Missouri, Jennifer Lincoln of Columbia, Missouri; one son, James Michael Harper of Austin, Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two sisters, Melba Billsbrough of Flint, Michigan, Shirley Christman of Dexter, Missouri; and one spiritual son, Bob Roberts of Little Rock, Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 18, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 19, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Bro. Dale Rogers of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
