Ida Mae Claborn, the daughter of the late Joe and Pearlie Foyer Williamson, was born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas on August 19, 1914, and passed away at her home in Parma, Missouri on June 6, 2008, at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 18 days.
Mrs. Claborn had lived in Sikeston, Missouri and Marion, Indiana and had lived in Parma, Missouri since 1970. She was a member of the New Jerusalem Church.
On December 16, 1949, she was married to Clifton Claborn in Sikeston, Missouri.
Surviving are one brother, Haywood Williamson of Indiana; two sisters, Pearlie Henry of Indiana, Bercin Boyd of Illinois; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pearlie Mea Taylor, two brothers, Elemon and Melvin Williamson and two sisters, Claireace Burnett and Cerlester Williamson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the Parma Community Building in Parma, Missouri with Pastor Floyd Wade of Parma, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
