Hubert Hill Hubert Hill, the son of the late Joe and Addie Hill, was born in Wardell, Missouri on February 4, 1918, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on May 20, 2005, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 16 days. Mr. Hill had resided in Wardell, Missouri before moving to Morehouse, Missouri in 1951. He was a former custodian of the Morehouse Schools. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was member of the Morehouse General Baptist Church and the American Legion. On December 11, 1956, he was married to Margaret Elliott in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Surviving are his wife: Margaret Hill of Morehouse, Missouri. 2 sons: Rick Hill of Essex, Missouri and Ted Elliott of Sikeston, Missouri, 2 daughters: Alleen Eakers and Liz McNew both of Morehouse, Missouri, 1 sister: Aline Scott of Morehouse, Missouri, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Sonny Elliott and Tommy Elliott, 1 grandson, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 22, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2005, at 1:00 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Morehouse, Missouri with Rev. Frank Breeden of Morehouse, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
