Herman McKeller, son of the late Charlie Corbin and Ethel McKeller, was born in Malden, Missouri on July 12, 1931, and passed away at the Westwood Hills Health Care facility in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on April 24, 2010, at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 12 days. He attended schools in the Parma, Missouri area and worked constuction for 35 years in the Indianapolis, Indiana area before he retired. On July 27, 1952 he was married to Lorene Clark. Surviving are his wife, Lorene McKeller; five sons and daughters in law, Herman McKeller, Jr. of Denver, Colorado, Rodney and Teresa McKeller of Marion, Indiana, Gregory & Brenda McKeller of Malden, Missouri, Jeffrey and Trina McKeller of Clarksville, Tennessee, Anthony McKeller of Indianapolis, Indiana; three daughters and sons in law, Marilyn McKeller and Robert Moore of Denver, Colorado, Carolyn McKeller and Albert Brock of Roanoke, Virginia, Angela and Aaron Bush of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; many grandhchildren and great grandchildren; five sisters and spouse, Lessie Mae Bean of Parma, Missouri, Dessie Mae Campbell of Jacksonville, Florida, Edna and Lee Hester & Pearlie and Thomas Jennings all of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Annie Buchanan of St. Louis, Missouri; four brothers and spouse, L. B. Corbin of Kokomo, Indiana, Sam Corbin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, George Walter Corbin of Kokomo, Indiana, David Stewart & Donna Corbin of Jackson, Missouri. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Julia Buchanan, Jerline Jacobs, Roberta March and one brother, Willie Corbin. Visitation will be Saturday, May 1, 2010, after 12:00 PM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, Missouri. Services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Ronnie Webb and Pastor Johnnie Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
