Herman Lynxwiler, son of the late John and Mattie Bennett Lynxwiler, was born in Pocohontas, Arkansas on April 28, 1924, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on June 2, 2010, at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 5 days.
Mr. Lynxwiler had lived in Blodgett & Sikeston before moving to Bloomfield, Missouri in 1973. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
On August 27, 1955, he was married to Juanita June Collins in Pocohontas, Arkansas.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita June Lynxwiler of Bloomfield, Missouri; six daughters, Belissa Durham, Valery Yeakey & Tonya Williamson all of Bloomfield, Missouri, Charlotte Henrickson of Batesville, Arkansas, Connie Juengel of Union, Missouri, Marchelle Robey of New Madrid, Missouri; one son, Herman Lyn Lynxwiler of Bloomfield, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Lynxwiler of Reno, Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Mock; one brother, Jess Lynxwiler; three half-brothers, Elmer, Hubert & Herbert Lynxwiler; and two half-sisters, Mary Lynxwiler & Willard Gather.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 10:30 AM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
