Henry "Manny" Keena, son of the late Thomas and Stella Smith Keena, was born in Wappapello, Missouri on December 3, 1937, and passed away on February 23, 2011, at his home in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 73 years, 2 months and 20 days. Mr. Keena had lived in the Bloomfield, Missouri area all his life. He had farmed all his life until retiring in 1998. On March 8, 2003, he was married to Charlene L. Hadsell in Aquilla, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Charlene Keena of Bloomfield, Missouri; one son, Paul Keena of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Pamela Whitson of Advance, Missouri; six grandchildren, Tyler Whitson of Bloomfield, Missouri, Brian and Clay Whitson both of Advance, Missouri, Mason , Myles and Parker Keena all of Dexter, Missouri; one brother, Glwn Keena of Hennepin, Oklahoma; and one sister, Helen Branch of Pevely, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Friends may call on Friday, February 25, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 1:00 PM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Jim Hoyt of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
