Helen Beatress Zuck, daughter of the late Benjamin Thomas and Eva May Schumpert Sanders, was born in Parma, Missouri, on July 4, 1929, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on April 20, 2012, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 16 days. Mrs. Zuck had grown up in Parma, Missouri and had lived the past 20 years in Dexter, Missouri. She was employed by Kneibert Clinic as a janitor. She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Bible Way Church in Dexter, Missouri. On November 22, 1947, she was married to Francis Zuck in East Prairie, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1992. Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Sue Chaney of Dexter, Missouri; two sons, Francis Zuck, Jr. of Bellevue, Ohio, Travis Wayne Zuck of Hutchenson, Kansas; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; two brothers, T J Sanders of Bloomfield, Missouri, Charles Sanders of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one sister, Katherine Baker of Joplin, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive her. She was preceded in death by three children in infancy, one daughter, Janice Zuck and one brother, Thomas James Sanders. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 after 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Shirley McRoy of Dexter and Pastor Bonnie Cannell of Dexter officiating. Interment will be in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
