Helen Beatrice "Bea" Pullum, the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Edna Estelle Brack Gromer, was born in Morley, Missouri on August 19, 1924, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on February 13, 2009, at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 25 days.
Mrs. Pullum had lived in the Essex and Bloomfield, Missouri area most of her life. She was of the Baptist Faith.
On August 28, 1942, she was married to William Harold "Harry" Pullum in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are a very special nephew and care giver, Barry Pullum of Idalia, Missouri; two brothers, A. D. Gromer of Belleville, Missouri, John Gromer of Rochester Hills, Michigan; three sisters, Dorothy Lewis of Bell City, Missouri, Mary Kinder of Dexter, Missouri and Stella Absher of Rayville, Louisiana. Many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 15, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Don Lafferty of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bluff Cemetery in Idalia, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
