Helen Ida Cravens

Helen Cravens, daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie Morris Armes, was born in Missouri on July 9, 1919, and passed away at the home of her great granddaughter in Bernie, Missouri on December 17, 2006, at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 8 days. Mrs. Cravens had lived in Parma, Missouri all her life and was a home maker. On February 14, 1936, she was married to Gilbert Cravens in Parma, Missouri. He preceded her in on May 13, 1981. Surviving are one daughter and son in law, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, one brother and four sisters. Several nieces nephews, in-laws, cousins, many friends and neighbors. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son. Friends may call after 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri with Bro. Carl O'Dell of Oran, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylor Cemetery near Essex, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
