Helen Bowling, daughter of the late Otis and Winnie Skelton Weaver, was born on June 23, 1928, in Bloomfield, Missouri and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on December 6, 2012, at the age of 84 years.
She had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri all of her life. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
On December 28, 1946, she was married to Earl Bowling in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1987.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Bowling of Dexter, Vicky Bowling and Debbie Bowling both of Bloomfield; four sons, Ronnie Bowling, Larry Bowling and Kenny Bowling all of Bloomfield, Michael Bowling of Coolidge, Arizona; ten grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; four sisters, Louise Smith and Melba Barnett both of Bloomfield, Dorthy Evans of Cypress, Texas, Georgia Hughes of Hayden, Alabama; three brothers, Harold Gaines, Don Weaver & Dale Weaver all of Bloomfield. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Earl Bowling and Jerry Ray Bowling and one brother, James R. Weaver.
Friends may visit on Sunday December 9, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 10, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Greg Stevens of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
