Hazel M. Phillips, the daughter of Goldie Weathers Winnsett and the late Louis Winnsett, was born in Corning, California on October 19, 1962, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on January 12, 2007, at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Mrs. Phillips was raised in California and had lived and worked in Washington State where she worked in the Apple Orchards. She moved to Poplar Bluff in May of 2006.
Surviving are one son, Chris Fleming of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Bobbie Holland and Lee Ann Mohr both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her mother, Goldie Winnsett of Snelling, California, six grandchildren, Ayden Maddox Fleming, Jonathon James Goforth, Emily Holland, James Mohr, Austin Mohr, and Christian Mohr; one brother, Ben Winnsett of Avenal, California and one sister, Tammie Jay of Spokane, Washington. Other relatives and friends also Survive. She was preceded by one grandchild, Hailey Mohr.

Memorial funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Shelby Stevens of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
