Hattie Mae Cullum, the daughter of the late William and Lydia Shemoney McCarthy, was born in Fisk, Missouri on May 22, 1921, and passed away at the Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett, Missouri on June 13, 2006, at the age of 85 years and 22 days.
She had lived in Parma, Missouri all her life and was a member of the Parma Church of God.
She was married to James Lee Ralph Cullum in Malden, Missouri and he preceded her in death on February 27, 1982.
Surviving are four sons, Jerry Cullum, Mike Cullum, Steve Cullum and Donnie Cullum all of Parma, Missouri; three daughters, carolyn Woods of Parma, Missouri, Joann Walker of Bernie, Missouri, Judy Cannady of Risco, Missouri; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward Charles McCarthy, James Rosevelt McCarthy, Herman Matthews McCarthy, and Goldman Theodore McCarthy and two sisters, Alma Richardson and Ora Lee McCarthy.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 16, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
