Harold Allen Jackson, Sr. Harold Allen Jackson, Sr., son of the late Orion Lindel and Nora Mae Carter Jackson, was born in Dudley, Missouri on July 9, 1946, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on August 14, 2009, at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 5 days. Mr. Jackson had lived in Bernie since 1989. He was a veteran of the US Army and had served in Vietnam. On November 16, 1975 he was married to Pauline Mason they later divorced. He is currently married to Nannie Mae Jackson they wed on May 11, 1981 in Benton, Missouri.. Surviving are his wife Nannie Mae Jackson of Tennessee. Three sons: Charles Jackson of Bernie, Missouri, Lindel Mason-Jackson of Harrisonville, Missouri and Harold Allen Jackson, Jr. of Lexington, Alabama. Two step-daughters: Nancy Price of Collinwood, Tennessee and Barbara Bulington of Collinwood, Tennessee. Two step-sons: Benny Lovelace of Clifton, Tennessee and John Price of Kennett, Missouri. Twenty-two Grandchildren and Six great-grandchildren. One brother: Raymond Jackson of Sikeston, Missouri. Four sisters, Barbara Stump and Helen LaDoris Jackson Russell both of Sikeston, Missouri, Nora Yvonne Bennett of Dexter, Missouri and Juanita June Dickherber of St. Louis, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survives. He was preceded in death by Three Brothers: Marion, Dalas and Larry. Two sisters: Elsie Marie Jackson and Thelma Louise Copeland.. Friends may call on Monday, August 17, 2009, after 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009, at 1:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
