Harold E. Gromer
Harold E. Gromer, the son of the late Ernest S. and Addie O. Mason Gromer, was born in Morley, Missouri on April 6, 1927, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on January 4, 2005, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 29 days.
Mr. Gromer was a resident of Bernie, Missouri and had lived in Essex, Missouri and Southeast Missouri all his life. He was a member of the Word of Faith Christian Center in Bernie, Missouri.
On December 21, 1946, he married Imogene Williams in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife: Imogene Gromer of Bernie, Missouri, one son: Roger Gromer of Dexter, Missouri, three daughters: Janie L. Gromer, Connie D. Gromer, and Charlotte (Jerry) Yates all of Bernie, Missouri, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three brothers: Cecil Gromer of Columbia, Missouri, Charles Gromer of Dexter, Missouri, Allen Gromer of St. Clair, Missouri, four sisters: Mary Gromer and Virgie Allen both of Dexter, Missouri, Dorothy Edwards of Essex, Missouri, and Ann Pruett of Bloomfield, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Howard and Alva Gromer.
Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Thursday January 6, 2005, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 7, 2005, at 1:00 P.M. in the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Hartle of Bernie, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
