Harold Arden Davis

Harold Arden Davis, the son of Malinda Davis and the late Charles Arden Davis, was born in Dexter, Missouri on July 16, 1949, and passed away at his home near Dudley, Missouri on April 10, 2007, at the age of 57 years, 8 months and 25 days. Harold had spent his entire life the the Essex, Dexter and Dudley area. He was a veteran of the the U.S. Army and had served in Vietnam. On March 16, 1973, he was married to Patsy "Dee" Johnson in Essex, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Patsy "Dee" Davis of Dudley, Missouri; one son, Harold Allen Davis of Dudley, Missouri; one daughter, Amanda Kaye Davis of Dudley, Missouri; four grandchildren; his mother, Malinda Davis of Essex, Missouri; two brothers, Jerry Francis Davis of Dexter, Missouri, Jimmy Gale Davis of Wappapello, Missouri; and one sister, Luella "Lu" Fay Smith of Wappapello, Missouri. Many other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at 10:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Rick Williams of Parma, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military rites conducted by the Stoddard County Veteran's Honor Team.
