Granville Hobart Northcutt, Jr.

Granville Hobart “Bob” Northcutt, Jr., son of the late Granville Hobart, Sr. and Daisy Northcutt, was born near Bell City, Missouri on September 30, 1927, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on January 10, 2016, at the age of 88 years. He had lived in the Bell City and Bloomfield areas all his life. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had served in Korea. He had farmed and worked in building salvage. Surviving are one brother, Rudy Northcutt of Kalkaska, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bing Northcutt, Marshall Hobart Northcutt and two in infancy, Michael and Ike; and one sister, Montie Northcutt. Graveside services will be on Friday, January 15, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Richard Northcutt of Kirksville, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
