Grady Smith

Grady Smith of Puxico, son of the late S.E. and Eral Sparkman Smith, was born in Sturdivant, Missouri on September 16, 1933, and passed away at Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center in Puxico, June 13, 2019, at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Mr. Smith had lived in Puxico all of his life. He was self employed, an a member of the First Christian Church in Puxico, he also enjoyed fox hunting.

On August 14, 1954 he married Anne McGhee in Holly Springs Mississippi.

Surviving are his wife, Anne Smith of Puxico; one son, Michael Smith of Cape Girardeau, MIssouri; one brother, W.R. Smith, of Puxico. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter; Andrea Smith.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. First Christian Church in Puxico, with services to follow at 11:30 a.m. with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
