Gertrude A. Cochran, daughter of the late Nathan "Dock" Harrison and Joanne Milan Bradford, was born January 26, 1911, and passed away July 28, 2010, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 99 years, 6 months and 2 days.
She had lived in Sulphur Rock, Arkansas before moving to Bloomfield, Missouri over 67 years ago. She was a member of the Bird's Corner Assembly of God Church.
On March 21, 1929, she was married to Joseph Peter Cochran. He preceded her in death in on November 26, 1983.
She is survived by three sons, Steve Cochran of Scott City, Missouri, Melvin Cochran of Bloomfield, Missouri, Marvin Cochran of Lebanon, Missouri; five daughters, Bonnie Livesay & Pauline McMillan both of Dexter, Missouri, Wanda James of Essex, Missouri, Mabel Strecker of Big Rapids, Michigan, Helen Creason of Lebanon, Missouri; twenty-five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one sister, and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 1:00 PM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
