Geraldine Jarboe

Geraldine "Jerry" Jarboe, daughter of the late William B. and Ione Woolem Chamberlain, was born in Parma, Missouri on June 10, 1913, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on February 1, 2010, at the age of 96 years, 7 months and 22 days. She had lived in Dexter most of her life. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. She had worked as a beauty operator and had retired as a seamstress from Elder's Manufacturing. On October 15, 1933, she was married to George Kenneth Jarboe in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1981. Surviving are one sister-in-law, Sherley Chamberlain of Dexter, Missouri and many nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Aubrey and Rod Chamberlain. Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2010, after 11:00 AM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 1:00 PM at Watkins & Sons Chaple in Dexter with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
