Gerald Edward Rinehart

 Gerald Edward Rinehart, son of the late Claude and Jewell (Atkinson) Rinehart was born on April 17, 1938 in Houston, Arkansas and passed away on January 5, 2025 in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 19 days.

 Gerald and Patricia Ann Toll were united in marriage in June of 1965 in Benton Harbor, Michigan and were happily married until her passing on September 13, 2010.

 Gerald lived in Michigan for several years before moving back to the Dexter area in 1992. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri and enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play.

 Surviving family include his children, Jerry Rinehart of Stevensville, Michigan and Jill Miller of Arkansas, 4 grandchildren; Stephanie (Andrew) Tolles, of Flint, Michigan, Zachary Rinehart, of Stevensville, Michigan, Crystal Miller and Timothy Miller, both of Arkansas, a great grandson, James Tolles, a brother, J.E. (Sue) Rinehart of Bloomfield, Missouri, a sister, Lillie Denny of West Plains, Missouri, a sister in law, Irene Rinehart, of Bloomfield, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews, including the director of Memory Lane, Michelle Chism.

 Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

 The family would like to send a special thanks to the Memory Lane Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri for taking such great care of their loved one.
