Genevieve Reese

Genevieve Reese Genevieve Reese, the daughter of the late James Almer Wilkes and Annie Emoline Williams, was born in Qulin, Missouri, on January 17,1930 and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on March 27, 2011, at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 10 days. She had lived in Dexter, Missouri area most of her life. She was of the Christian faith. On April 13, 1946 she was married to Willie Ray Reese in Piggott Arkansas, he preceded her in death on May 19, 2003 Surviving are five sons, Jimmy Reese, Danny Reese, Michael Reese, all of Dexter, Missouri, Perry Reese, of Sikeston, Missouri, Jeff Reese of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Two daughters, Janice Sugg of Dexter, Missouri, Judy Rainey of Memphis, Tennesee. Nineteen grandchildren; Twenty-one great grandchildren; one brother James Wilkes, St. Louis, Missouri. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son: Roger Reese and two grandsons: Jimmy and Richard Reese. Three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2011, after 11:00 am at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 28, 2011, at 1:00 pm in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Karen Oldham of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hosptial.
