Geneva Nelson

Geneva Nelson, daughter of the late Ernest and Minnie Cantrell Faulkner, was born March 28, 1920, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on January 23, 2010. On November 2, 1938, she was married to George Wheeler Nelson. Mr. Nelson preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by six children, Patrick Nelson of Mena, Arkansas, Michael Nelson of Brooksville, Kentucky, Nancy Nelson Vines of Dexter, Missouri, LouAnn Nelson Doyle of Evansville, Indiana, John Nelson of Arvada, Colorado, and Thomas Ryan Nelson; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gilbert Faulkner and John Vaughn of Dexter, Missouri, Sam Faulkner of Bloomfield, Missouri; two sisters, Donna RuthAnn Faulkner of Bend, Oregon, and Virginia Meredith of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Father David Dohogne of Dexter, Missouri will officiate. Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
