Geneva F. Harrellson Crow, the daughter of the late Benjamin Conway and Caltonia Young Harrellson, was born in rural Bernie, Missouri near Sugar Tree on October 20, 1915, and passed away at her home near Bernie, Missouri on January 2, 2006, at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 13 days.
She had lived near Bernie all her life where she and her husband had farmed. She was the 2003 Missouri Farm Woman of the Year and was a member of the Poplar Bluff Master Gardeners.
On October 20, 1934, she was married to Shelby Chalmer Crow in Kennett, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1996.
Surviving are one daughter and son in law, Shirley Crow Stephens and John E. Stephens, Jr. of Parma, Missouri; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son in infancy; Shelby Chalmer Crow, Jr.; one sister, Beatrice Harrellson; three brothers, Chalmer Harrellson, Benjamin Harrellson, and James Glenn Harrellson.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Father Glenn Eftink of Glennonville, Missouri officiating.
