Gene Worley, son of the Norval Worley and the late Daphna Hamby Worley, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on April 18, 1950, and passed away at the Westwood Hills Health Care in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on April 22, 2010, at the age of 60 years and 4 days.
He had lived in Lincoln, Illinois and in the Dexter, Missouri area the past five years. He had worked in construction and was a drywall installer.
Surviving are two sons, Travis Worley of Essex, Missouri, Jonathan Worley of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Marcy Garner and Tina Malone both of Dexter, Missouri; his father and step-mother, Norval & Pansy Worley of Dexter, Missouri; seven grandchildren; one brother, Charles Worley of Pampa, Texas; and one sister, Leata Hufford of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. In addition to his mother he was also preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Hughes.
Visitation will be Monday, April 26, 2010, after 10:00 AM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, Missouri.
Services will be held Monday, April 26, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
