Gary Lynn Campbell, son of the late Ira M. D. and Johnette Parks Campbell, was born in Gideon, Missouri on January 26, 1950, and passed away at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on March 9, 2012, at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 11 days.
Mr. Campbell had lived most of his life in Parma. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Parma. He had worked at the Noranda Aluminum Plant. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
On August 27, 1971, he was married to Jannis "Jan" Halterman in Parma, Missouri. She preceded him in death on March 28, 2012.
Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Reynolds of Parma, Missouri, Becky Campbell of Scott City, Missouri, Sarah Trammell of Campbell, Missouri; six grandchildren, Austin & Nicholas Reynolds of Parma, Missouri, Harley, Bryleigh, Jarred and Michael, Jr. Trammell all of Campbell, Missouri; two brothers & wives, John & Marsha Campbell of Parma, Missouri, Ira Michael & Barbara Campbell of Sikeston, Missouri; three sisters & husbands, Sharon & Glen Medlin of New Madrid, Missouri, Karan Byrd of New Madrid, Missouri, Lisa & Tim Bartlett of Parma, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece, Angela Sue Byrd, and a nephew, Ira Martin "Marty" Bartlett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 2:00 pm in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri.
Interment will be in Mounds Cemetery near New Madrid, Missouri with full Military Honors. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
