Freddie Dale Payne, son of the late Eli and Ida Lewis Fields Payne, was born in Dexter, Missouri on May 1, 1950, and passed away the St. Clair Health Center in Fenton, Missouri on February 3, 2011, at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 2 days. Mr. Payne had lived in Essex, Missouri before moving the Eureka, Missouri fifteen years ago. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army. On April 17, 1976, he was married to Judy Krupp in Valley Park, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Judy Payne of Eureka, Missouri; three sons, Timmy Payne, Jimmy Payne and Charlie Payne all of Eureka, Missouri; one daughter, Kimberly Bathe of Fenton, Missouri; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Jewell Hinshaw of Warrenton, Missouri and Bessie Purler fo Exeter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and David Payne, and two sisters, Wilma Rayburn and Mary Payne. Visitation will be Monday, February 7, 2011, after 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
