Frankie Walker

Frankie J. Walker Frankie J. Walker, daughter of the late Richard and Agnes Feiser Hardesty, was born in Parma, Missouri on September 29, 1929 and passed away at the Oakdale Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on May 26, 2009, at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 28 days. Ms. Walker had grew up in Parma and lived in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for twenty-five years until her retirement. She was a member of the Baptist Faith. On November 30, 1952 she was married to Henry S. (Doby) Walker in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1977. Surviving are several cousins in St. Louis, County, Parma and Rogers, Arkansas. and many friends also survive. Friends may call on Friday, May 29, 2009, after 12:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. George Howell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
