Flo Magnolia Plunk, daughter of the late James Leonard and Verda Bell Curtis Cawhorn, was born in Conran, Missouri on March 21, 1936, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on July 29, 2009, at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 8 days. Mrs. Plunk had lived in Marston and Essex, Missouri before moving to Dexter in 1973. She had owned and operated the 61 Cafe in Marshton, Missouri with her husband before his death. She was affiliated with the Pentecost Church. On June 11, 1966, she was married to George Edward Plunk in New Madrid, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1985. Surviving are two sons, J. W. Wade, Jr. of Moore, Oklahoma, Gary Wade of Blytheville, Arkansas. Two daughters: Kimberly Diane Keirsey of Bloomfield, Missouri, Katteena Reena Borders of Dexter, Missouri. Two stepsons: Joe Plunk of Kentucky and Ed White of Wisconsin. 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. One brother: James Leonard Cawhorn of Tacoma, Washington; three sisters, Molly Price of Lilbourn, Missouri, Elsie Vires of Monahan, Texas and Phyllis Hall of Modesto, California. Other relatives and friends also survives. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Glodean Pickens and Mary Lee Snider. One brother: Charles Cawhorn and one son Ben Plunk. Friends may call on Monday, August 3 , 2009, after 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009, at 1:00 PM at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
