Everett A. "Bud" Young, son of the late Ira Martin and Lucy Stafford Young, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on September 20, 1918, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on May 21, 2009, at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 1 day. Mr. Young had lived in the Bloomfield area all of his life. He was a retired truck driver and had worked for Monarch Feed Mills in Dexter. He was a member of the Link Church near Bloomfield. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. On April 1, 1944, he was married to Mary Melba Payne. Surviving are his wife, Mary Melba Young of Bloomfield, Missouri; one son, Dennis Young of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Janet Walker of Arnold, Missouri; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four sisters. Visitation will be Monday May 25, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at 9:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. M. C. Moore of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military rites. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
