Eva (Martin) Wilson, daughter of the late Isaac N. Martin and Rosa (Rollison) Martin, was born near Swinton, Missouri on August 4, 1914, and passed away at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri on January 14, 2011, at the age of 96 years, 4 months and 10 days.
On December 30, 1933, she was married to Howard Wilson of Leora, Missouri who passed away June 9, 1969.
She was the mother of eleven children, four preceding her in death. She enjoyed raising her family, singing in choir at church and playing scrabble.
She became a Christian in July of 1938, received Holy Ghost baptistism and continued in the faith. She was a member of the Bible Tabernacle Church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
She leaves five sons, Jesse Wilson, David Wilson, and Eli Wilson all of Bloomfield, Missouri, Chesley Wilson of Dexter, Missouri, Phillip Wilson of Glen Allen, Missouri; two daughters, Melba Keena and Ruth Ann McGee both of Bloomfield, Missouri ; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by four sons, Francis, James, Jerry Dean & Carl Wayne Wilson, one granddaughter, Mona Renee, one grandson, Dennis Edward and eleven brothers & sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday, January 16, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011, at 10:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Dudley Hamilton of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
