Elsie Mae Ridenour
Elsie Mae Ridenour, the daughter of the late Oscar Edward and Betty E. Jarrells Masterson, was born near Dexter, Missouri on May 25, 1915, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on June 9, 2005, at the age of 90 years and 15 days.
Mrs. Ridenour had lived in the Dexter community most of her life. She was a home maker and a member of the Sadlers Chapel United Methodist Church near Dexter.
On September 1, 1941, she was married to Homer E. Ridenour in St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1998.
Surviving are one son, Freddy Ridenour of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Peggy Temples of Bernie, Missouri; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Sophia Deason and Mary Fairchild both of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Louis, and Adam Masterson; and three sisters, Nancy and Melissa Masterson and Ella Casey.
Friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2005, at 2:00 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
