Eloise McCarty

Eloise E. McCarty Eloise E. McCarty, daughter of Oscar Thomas and Willie Mae Graham Ashby, was born in Brewers Lake, Missouri, on July 31, 1925, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on December 4, 2011, at the age of 86. She had lived in the Dexter, Missouri area most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and long time member of the Eastern Star. On May 19, 1969 Eloise was married to William "Bill" McCarty in Charleston, Missouri he preceded her in death on January 3, 1981. Surviving are one son: Sam Sneed of Pinkneyville, Illinois and one daughter Judy Sneed Brown of Dexter, Missouri. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers John, Robert, Clifford, Clyde, Raymond and Alfred Ashby Friends may visit on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, after 6:00 PM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Easterwood of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Webb - Sprinkles Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
