Eli Burton Davis

Eli Burton Davis, the son of the late Fred and Wilda Wright Davis, was born in Puxico, Missouri on June 2, 1930, and passed away at the Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico, Missouri on April 4, 2007, at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 2 days. He had lived in the McGee and Puxico, Missouri areas most of his life. He had worked at a sawmill and had mowed lawns. He had attended the Shadydale Church. Surviving are special friends and caregivers, Jerry and Donna Holigan of Puxico, Missouri; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters, Bill Davis, Ida Fields, Rosco Parks, Vertis Parks, Wanita Parks, Sofie Davis, J. D. Davis, Juilenne Davis, Elzo Parks, and Idie Parks. Friends may call on Friday, April 6, 2007, after 6:00 P.M. at the Watkins & Sons Fuenral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Bro. Steve Jones of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
