Elbert Junior Mason

Rev. Elbert Junior Mason, the son of the late Floyd E. and Ruth Wagster Mason, was born in Kennett, Missouri on February 27, 1937, and passed away at the Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri on January 12, 2007, at the age of 69 years. Rev. Mason was the senior pastor of the Irondale Assembly of God Church. He had served in the ministry for over fifty years and had been ordained by the Assembly of God church for 47 years. He was married to Mary F. Roberts. Surviving are his wife, Mary F. Mason of Irondale, Missouri; two daughters, Pamela Tune of Houston, Missouri, Kim Gowan of Colinsville, Illinois; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Vada Eaton of Sikeston, Missouri, Barbara Montgomery of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Bill Mason of Advance, Missouri and T. J. Mson of Lake Wales, Florida. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Lawrence and four brothers, Gerald, Don, Leroy and Eugene Mason. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. at the C. Z.
