Edna Eileen Sanders

Edna Eileen Sanders, a cherished resident of Bloomfield, Missouri, passed away on November 30, 2024 at the age of 87. She was born on April 27, 1937, in McGee, Missouri, to the late Jessie and Irene (Jaco) Carver.

In 1953, Edna was united in marriage to T.J. Sanders, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life filled with love and family. Edna dedicated much of her life to her community and was a devoted member of the Beach Grove General Baptist Church. She had a passion for creativity, often expressing herself through crafting, quilting, and floral arrangements.

Edna's family legacy continues through her two daughters, Lena Kay (Burt) Hindman of St. Peters, Missouri, and Charlotte Elain (Clarence) Boen of Bloomfield, Missouri, as well as her son, Terry (Deborah) Sanders of Bloomfield. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Cindy (Ball) Sanders, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild, who will carry forward her memory and love.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Larry Sanders, four brothers, and two sisters.

A visitation in honor of Edna will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, starting at 11:00 A.M. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M., with Brother Terry Sanders of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
