Edna Mae Hellmann, the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Myrtie Mae Lincoln Harper, was born near Idalia, Missouri on December 4, 1921, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare facility in Dexter, Missouri on February 6, 2007, at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Mrs. Hellmann had lived in St. Louis, Missouri most of her life and returned to Dexter in 1989. She had worked at the Lincoln Pentair Company in St. Louis.
On February 21, 1948, she was married to Marvin G. Hellmann in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1988.
Surviving are one grandson, Morgan E. Hellmann of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; four sisters, Hattie Nottingham of St. Charles, Missouri, Syble Lawrence of Dexter, Missouri, Bessie Morlan of Bloomfield, Missouri, and Marion Atkins of Pelham, Alabama. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her son, Marvin E. Hellmann on October 30, 1980, one brother, John Harper, and three sisters, Madge Eaton, Mildred Hutchison, and Blanche Avery.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007, at 11:45 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
