Eddie Williams, son of the late Archie A. and Lona Mae Parmenter Williams, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on May 4, 1949, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on December 10, 2009, at the age of 60 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Mr. Williams had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri all of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter, Missouri. He had been a truck driver with QT Trucking and had also worked as a self-employed truck driver.
On August 29, 2003, he was married to Jeneth Lee Wilkerson in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Surviving are his wife, Jeneth Williams of Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Lisa Heaton of Bloomfield, Missouri; one step-daughter, Susan Layton of Sikeston, Missouri; one step-son, Stephen Wilkerson of Benton, Missouri; five grandchildren; one brother, Gary Williams of Nashville, Tennessee; four sisters, Ann Ruddich of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Patsy Sue Layton of Centerville, Missouri, Nancy June White of Cape Girardeau and Mary Kay Gillis of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by by two brothers, Bob & Jim Williams.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 12, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at 2:00 PM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Bro. Travis Quetermous of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
