Eddie Martin Losh Eddie Martin Losh, the son of Roy Lee and Hazel Irene McCurry Losh, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on February 16, 1953, and passed away at his home in Jackson, Missouri on August 13, 2011, at the age of 58 years, 5 months and 28 days. Eddie was a member of the Friendship General Baptist Church in Coon Island, Missouri. Eddie served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a truck driver for 24 years. He and his wife were foster parents to over 25 children. Eddie enjoyed camping, horseback riding, boating and motorcycles. On June 17, 2002, he was married to Pamela Sue Durbin in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Surviving are his wife Pamela of Jackson, Missouri, His parents Roy Lee and Hazel Irene Losh of Fredericktown, Missouri. Two daughters: Madison Lee Losh of Jackson, Missouri, Lena (Billy) Sturm of Scott City, Missouri. Two step-sons: Brad and Robbie. Three sisters Dottie Slinkard of Fredericktown, Missouri and Pearl (Rob) Eck of Jackson, Missouri and Karen (Mike) Barks of Fredericktown, Missouri. One brother: Rickey Losh of Winchester, Kentucky. Several neices and nephews. Two grandsons: Casey and Dylan. several step-grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edgar and Pearl Losh, Edgar and Viola McCurry. One brother-in-law Warren Slinkard and one sister-in-law- Margaret Losh. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011, after 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Brother Allen Leutert of Coon Island, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is handling local arrangements.
