Easter LaRue

Easter Lillie LaRue, daughter of the late J. A. and Lillie James LaRue, was born in LaValle, Missouri on April 12, 1925, and passed away at the Gassville Therapy & Living Center in Gassville, Arkansas on March 10, 2015, at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 26 days. She had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of her life and moved to Mt. Home, Arkansas three years ago. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly. On August 1, 1942, she was married to Tillman Adkins in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1973. She then married Charlie LaRue on September 6, 1973. He preceded her in death in 1979. Surviving are four sons, Tillman D. Adkins of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Arthur D. Adkins of Montrose, Michigan, Kerry D. Adkins of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Kenneth D. Adkins of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Vannessa K. Martin of Kokomo, Indiana, Valeria K. Jurczak of Montrose, Michigan; one brother, Lawrence A. Putney of Flint, Michigan; two sisters, Ora Putney of Dexter, Missouri and Aline Baker of near Flint, Michigan. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Friends may call on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015, at 12:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
